Between Air and Weight

Painting Description
This abstract composition explores the tension between heaviness and openness, where dense earthy forms collide with quiet, breathing spaces. Through layered marks, scraped surfaces, and shifting tones, the painting reflects fragments of memory, movement, and emotional residue. The muted blues and pale greens create a suspended atmosphere, interrupted by deeper brown structures and fleeting red accents that appear like traces of pulse or presence. Rather than depicting a specific landscape, the work invites the viewer into an ambiguous psychological space — somewhere between disappearance and emergence.
